Separation of church and state!!!! I cannot overstate my horror at this man’s preoccupation with sex. He obviously doth protest too much. Separation of bedroom and boardroom as well. Democracy is in peril in his hands and those of his handlers.

Just to educate you. “Separation of church and state” means Congress shall not establish a state religion. How is the speaker attempting to establish a religion according to you?

He’s not establishing a religion. He’s attempting to impose his fundamentalist views on the country. Please watch Sandra Day O’Connor about not letting her personal view of abortion influence her votes on the Supreme Court. And as someone from Miami, could you please explain why the Speaker had to make a pilgrimage to visit a former president in Florida?

I learned something today about Miami University, with there not being a town by that name in Ohio. So thank you for sharing your experience, strength and hope. We are all works in progress.

I’m from Miami, Ohio. See what happens when you ASS-ume. 🫏 🫵🏻

He can have an opinion. He is not advocating for a state religion. I am aware that I’m giving you too much information for you to process in such a short amount of time.

Well, he thinks the US should be a theocracy...what does that tell you?

He can think what he wants. Thinking is not a crime. Not yet anyway.

Thanks for the giggle. Of course you gave yourself that title on purpose. Forgive me if Miami, Ohio, is not quite as famous as the other one. But my question still holds.

I don’t give a shit if Schumer visits Obama in Martha’s Vinyard. Why should you get upset if Johnson visits Trump in Florida? People travel and meet other people. Politicians are people too, albeit slimy, corrupt & scummy people.

You obviously have personal biases. Sandra Day O’Connor wasn’t infallible. She had her opinion. Other justices on the Supreme Court may or may not have their personal biases influence their decisions. There is no way to know but common sense would suggest YES personal biases do influence their decisions. Again they are human. Despite what that numskull Roberts says “there are no Obama justices and there are no Bush justices” one would have to be a drooling moron to believe that. The Supreme Court isn’t infallible. It has made bad decisions in the past.

I despise both DummyBrats & Republicucks. I was a Republicuck until 3 years ago but now I see clearly that both parties are corrupt, work together and do the bidding of their donors and special interests. It’s a stupid and corrupt system and I hope it collapses.

Obviously not much I can say to change your mind. But please don’t give up. The whole world feels quite precarious right now, but at 78 and having spent my childhood in post-war Britain, I subscribe to keeping calm and carrying on. Peace and love are precious commodities to be shared.

The pastors are praying “Please, Lord, heal this man.” Unanswered as yet. How did this doorstop get people to apply the label “constitutional lawyer” to him?

His credentials warrant the label constitutional lawyer.

So, I found one case. One.

James Michael Johnson, LA Bar 26059, entered an appearance as co-counsel for plaintiffs in Pounds et al v. Katy Independent School District et al in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas Case № **4:06-cv-00527** This was a First Amendment action brought by parents of elementary school students. The Court granted summary judgment for plaintiffs holding that the school could not limit the choices available for ordering holiday greeting cards of a student's art from a third-party vendor in connection with a fund raiser by removing one that quoted a Bible verse from the greeting options. The school's motivation was to avoid an Establishment Clause violation. The Court found that motivation was inapt because the speech was not the speech of the school but of the student. The Court granted summary judgment for the defendant on a related claim.

You have any others?

You think someone who is a Trumper twin should be in that position? What do you understand about the basis of our Constitutional democratic republic?

If he got elected into that position, yes. That is how the “system” works though it is clearly a corrupt and failed system.

“Praying” typically doesn’t involve touching genitalia. In the cases that it does happen, it is not something that is condoned by Christians. You know that.
